Showy Stonecrops - Late Color, Pollinator Value and Low Maintenance

Showy Stonecrop or Upright Sedum

Stonecrops have many winning qualities – incredible drought tolerance, beautiful flowers that act as an absolute pollinator magnet, deer resistance, minimal maintenance (cutting down flower stalks in spring), and an attractive mounding habit.  One of their finest attributes is their late bloom period; just as many popular summer bloomers are starting to fade, Stonecrops are coming into their prime. Varieties ‘Autumn Joy’, ‘Autumn Fire’ and ‘Neon’ continue to provide color and interest well into autumn when little else is in bloom.
